Time seems to be passing me by! This year has been very stressful for all of us!
Rudy had another Gammaknife on Nov. 3 in Spokane, now we have to wait until Dec. 2 to find out if the Gammaknife worked and stopped recurrent tumor from growing more. Rudy’s been a trooper through all of this. He never complains, but is upset about not being able to do all of the things he’d planned on doing.
He’s totally Disabled now and can no longer work at his job, which was his life! it meant so much to him and his co-workers were his family too! He misses them! Tonight a few are coming over to play poker with him. He loves it when they come, he’s more like his old self. As usual, I baked Oatmeal Choc Chip and Raisin cookies for them. the guys love to eat cookies!
Today’s our annual Veterans Day Parade, Rudy’s not sure he’s going this year. But plans on going to Jakob and Ben’s football game in Prosser. It’s a play-off game and we hope they win and get to go the Supper Bowl! Jakob’s been sick all week and hope he’s well enough to play today.
Holidays are upon us already! Last weekend was Halloween, 5 of our grandkids stopped by and we even got one Trick or Treater this year!
Tomorrow I will be making Birthday Dinner and Dessert for Gina and Nee’s Birthday. Hard to believe they are turning 36 already! where does time go?
Got to start planning Thanksgiving and then Christmas! Where did the year go?
