Tumor is growing again!

Rudy had MRI on June 23rd, they found the tumor was growing again. On June 30th, we went back to Spokane and they used Gammaknife on him to kill the live cancer cells. On Aug, 5th, he will have another MRI to check to see if the tumor is growing again.

Watching the Gammaknife procedure was very stressful, inserting 4 pins in Rudy’s head and then they attached a frame to the pins in his head. They then attached the frame into the Gammaknife and radiated the live cancer cells causing the tumor to grow again.

We watched on a monitor while the radiation was killing the live cancer cells. We could see Rudy’s foot keeping time to the music of the Eagles playing for him while inside the Gammaknife.

We have a long road ahead of us!

Mom, I wish I could have been there, but knowing I was w/ Mona so far away at least gave me some comfort and her too. We love you and Dad more than anything!
