What a wonderful Christmas!
But it’s always sad for me the day after Christmas! The presents are gone and the tree looks empty. There’s opened presents sitting all over the place.
Mona and her family made it through the storm and arrived! Took them almost 8 hours to drive here from Portland, part of the time following snow plows. I was so worried they would not make in here from NJ.
All of the family was home for Christmas this year! We all had a great time! Our house just isn’t big enough these days, there were 15 of us and Lucy and Dude in the mix also!
I think everyone enjoyed their gifts from each other.
Good thing we don’t have close neighbors. I hooked up the Karaoke machine and they had a great time singing!
Dinner turned out great, I always try to do my best! Of course I always make way too much, so everyone will be here again for dinner of leftovers tonight.
They all had a great time sledding down the hill that Rudy made in the front yard.
It’s Christmas Eve!
I’m really nervous about Mona and her family’s trip across the US to get here for Christmas!
Trying to keep busy to keep my mind off it. Still baking, just got pies out of the oven. I still have one more batch of cookies to bake.
Jakob went sledding on the hill Papa made while I was busy baking.

Kaitie took the pics for me.

Then I need to make rolls and Clam Chowder for dinner tonight. It’s a tradition in our family to have Clam Chowder for Christmas Eve dinner.
Off to get more done.
Where are you Christmas?
I’m having problems getting into the Spirit of Christmas this year.
Christmas Shoes
This is one of my favorite Christmas Songs, sad, but I really like to listen to it.
I watched a movie last night about this song.
