Dec. 08 LO Sketch, Easter 2008

I’m on a roll today! I completed this LO sketch also!

It was great having all of the Family at our house last Easter. It had been a very long time since we last were altogether.

Lucy wouldn’t stay upstairs while I was working in the “Dungeon”, so I put one of her beds underneath my work table and she went to sleep!

That is until there was a door bell on the TV and she goes crazy when she hears door bells any more.

Nov. LO for FTH, Bouncing!

I finally finished my LO! Can’t believe it took me this long to get it completed. I’m so slow!

Valentines for my Grandkids!

I made all of my grandkids’ Valentines. Decided I better get them done before time flew by and I ran out of time.

I made 4 pink ones for our grand daughters:

Remember the 1963 movie, “The Birds”

Well we had our own version of that movie today in our front yard. They didn’t attack anyone, but there were so many birds!

All of these pics were taken through my front window. Every time we tried going outside to take the pics, they all flew away.

Not bad for through double-pane glass, huh?

Wow, that’s alot of birds!

Snow Again!

We got snow again, I’d hoped we were done for the year!

I really don’t like this white stuff!

It snowed off and on all day!

Luckily not alot of accumulation, it can just all melt away already!

Can you tell I’m not fond of snow?

Purse Card

I made Cami’s Birthday Card this last weekend.

I struggled with attaching the beaded handle, there must be a better way of doing it!

It took me all day Saturday trying to complete this card.

I had a hard time getting a clear pic, will try again and replace when I can.

Happy Birthday Lita!

I made this card and sent to Lita for her birthday next week. She’s turning 83!

Gosh! The way I feel these days, I don’t think I’ll make it to my 80’s.

Here’s some more flooding!

The water is over two lanes of the road heading to Richland.

Here’s the bridge just West of the Nursery, water is right at the bottom.

Here’s the area just below the Fire Station on our road.

They expect the water to start receding tonight.

We drove around to look at some of the flooding here.

Here’s pictures of the golf course under water, I didn’t take pics of the clubhouse that burned down during the snow.

Here’s the house just across the Yakima River bridge heading into Richland.

And the livestock boarding place across the road.

The South end of the field across the street from us has water in it now, but nothing like Feb. 1996 when that field turned into an ocean.

Our snow is all gone!

What a difference a week makes. The temps warmed up and wind arrived and melted our snow all away in 2 days time!

This is all that’s left of the sledding hill that Rudy worked so hard to make for the kids.

Tumbleweeds are gathering up out at the barn where Rudy hits golf balls from. Lucy’s trying to sneak into the pasture, since the gate is open.

Here’s a closer view, Rudy opened the gate and they didn’t blow away.

WA is a mess right now, with flooding, landslides, avalanches and wind damage. Hope this all clears up soon!
