Life Goes On…

One Day at a Time

Meg and Madi’s mini albums

We’ve spent most of the last few days working on the “My Furry Friends” mini album. The girls are almost finished with them now. We have 4 more pages to cover and finish their journaling, then I can bind them.

Here’s Meg working hard on her’s, she’s very slow getting anything done.

Here’s Madi working on her’s, she works very fast and I can’t leave the room for a moment or she’s getting more supplies to add more to her album.

I’ll take pics of their pages and post soon!

My garden

I used to have a very large garden, but my body just won’t let me take care of one now!

We decided I could keep up with some plants in wine barrels that we cut in half. I got started a month late, but did get to plant 3 bell peppers, 1 Roma tomato, 2 cucumbers and 3 zucchini.

Bell pepper, with the wind we have here, I have to protect them in wire cages or they blow over.

Roma tomato, has about 8 little tomatos on it so far.

The cucumbers were supposed to be bush ones, but are trailing a little. They have a few cucumbers forming and large leaves that hide them.

The zucchini are a round variety, I’ve never grown these before. So far the plants have stayed small and have alot of blooms and a few zucchini forming.

Of course Lucy had to sneak into the pic too!

It’s been several years since I had a garden, so we’ll see how much it produces. I planted some carrots, chives and lettuce, but Jakob walked through them and they never did come up, so in their spot is where Madi planted her peanuts.
